Targa Telematics demonstrates its commitment to the UK rental and leasing industry by joining the BVRLA

Targa Telematics, a tech company specialising in the development of IoT solutions and digital platforms for connected mobility, has joined the BVRLA together with over 1,000 organisations all of whom operate in, or engage with the UK vehicle rental, leasing and fleet sectors.

As part of the BVRLA family, Targa Telematics demonstrates its commitment to the British automotive industry and its aim to educate and support rental and leasing companies on the benefits of digital transformation enabled by connected car data, as it is successfully doing across Europe.

Their experience in connected mobility and developing digital solutions for leasing and rental companies enables Targa Telematics to identify where digital transformation can benefit their business and quickly implement suitable solutions. This delivers a real competitive advantage which benefits both the company and its customers and provides a perfectly integrated, unique product to meet its clients’ requirements. Targa Telematics has been ably supporting the leading European companies in the rental and leasing industry for many years, forming long-term partnerships based on continuing to deliver value through successful deployments.

Targa Telematics recently received an award from Frost & Sullivan for ‘Uniquely Leveraging Its Technology to Meet European Vehicle Leasing and Rental Telematics Real-world Client and Market Needs’, furtherer demonstrating the value the company can bring to BVRLA associates.

Furthermore, Targa Telematics continues to expand its portfolio of solutions for connected mobility, most recently signing an agreement with BMW to integrate its connected data streams, one of several such agreements with car manufacturers the company already has in place. This enables the IT company to utilise the embedded data already available from many modern vehicles to provide an array of connected vehicle services, without the need to install an aftermarket device.

Thomas Smith, Country Manager UK of Targa Telematics, commented: “We are proud to be joining such a prestigious association as the BVRLA. We look forward to working with our fellow members and helping them realise the benefits that can be gained from correctly applying connected vehicle data within their business.
