The Italian company was awarded today in Milan during the third edition of the workshop event “Motore Italia. Come far decollare le PMI”
This prestigious prize was accepted by Adriano Scardellato, Chairman of Targa Telematics. The company, a leader in developing innovative solutions for sustainable and integrated mobility took the “The Best Industry 4.0 in Italy” award during the third edition of the workshop event “Motore Italia. Come far decollare le PMI” (Italy’s engine – How to kick start SMEs) organised by Class Editori in Palazzo Mezzanotte (Italian Stock Exchange) in Milan. The awards ceremony took place before prominent businesspeople and professionals, as part of a conference that covered a variety of topics relating to the growth of small and medium enterprises in Italy.
This award certifies the high quality of work produced by the entire team, particularly in relation to the digitisation of the automotive sector, and confirms the company as a leader among the providers and technologies driving the present and future evolution of industry. Industry 4.0 encompasses the digital revolution that will involve the entire country, with technology as a strongly enabling factor.
Targa Telematics was singled out as one of the most innovative companies in the Italian industrial landscape, and indeed this was a deciding factor in the assignment of the award. Nor was it any surprise that Capital magazine included it as one of the firms that should be presented to delegates at the G7 summit – involving the seven richest nations in the world – which last convened in late September in Turin, the car capital of Italy. Alongside this international event, the company was featured in the publication “The Best Industry 4.0 in Italy”, which brings together more than 40 successful case histories.
“Receiving this award,” said Mr. Scardellato, “is a source of great pride and confirms the foresight and the quality of our mission of constant growth and innovation in a constantly evolving market. I want to give full credit to my colleagues, without whom we could not have achieved this important success.”
